Our History

The History of Domaine de Panéry

Panéry, a former bread farm turned vineyard in the late 19th century, is now home to passionate entrepreneurs revitalizing ancestral crops in the Uzès region, harmoniously blending tradition with nature.

A Domain Driven by Passion

The Uzès adventure began in August 2017 when Jacqueline discovered Domaine de Panéry. Major renovations commenced with the restructuring of the vineyard in April 2018, including the planting of nearly 300 acres of premium olive trees. Today, these trees produce rich, complex virgin olive oils recognized by numerous restaurants and starred chefs.

Winemaking Excellence

A new tasting room was created to showcase and market the estate’s products. Collaborations with two oenologists and the cellar master sparked a keen interest in the scientific aspects of wine production. The domain now crafts balanced blends using renowned Gard grape varieties:

  • Reds and rosés: Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault, Carignan, and Mourvèdre
  • Whites: Grenache, Marsanne, and Viognier.

Domaine de Panéry’s vintages continue to improve, gaining depth and consistency, resulting in an award-winning, cohesive range.

Olive Oil Production

Alongside the vineyards, nearly 300 acres of olive trees have been planted, establishing Domaine de Panéry as a leading olive producer in France.
